Responsible for managing the local marketing duties for a World of Beer location, the ability to meet or exceed established financial goals and the ongoing development of World of Beer brand positioning. Approximately 10 hours per week based on location needs. Reporting Relationship:General Manager with dotted line to Field Marketing Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

Primary focus should be put on running a successful event and local marketing, the acceptable attainment of building sales and meeting or exceeding all forecasted financial goals for a time period, the development of and communication to World of Beer hourly staff, the ongoing established World of Beer quality of operations and exceptional event execution.

 

Qualifications and Job Requirements: 

  • 1-2 years of previous hospitality/food service industry experience that resulted in consistent, positive sales is preferred.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Outgoing, Friendly, Easily Approachable: This person should naturally be the host of any party and the one to introduce themselves first in social situations. They should be the starter of conversations and find themselves creating social experiences with ease.
  • Embody WOB: This person should have a passion for World of Beer, what it offers, and what it stands for… they should know beer, have regulars, and love discovery and exploration of new things.
  • Results Focused: Creating contacts and partnerships to help build sales should be this person's number one focus. Relationships are important to WOB and this person should focus on the ones that bring the most impact to sales.
  • Ability to perform all other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, a WOB Field Brand Ambassador Employee is regularly required to talk, hear and see. This position includes the ability to stand for periods of time up to 10 hours in a shift and have the ability to be able to taste, smell, stoop, bend, stretch, kneel reach, carry, push and lift up to 50 pounds without restriction. Ability to verbally communicate with all employees, customers and phone callers in English.

Duties/Requirements for Brand Ambassador Employees

 

Outside of WOB:

  • Creates calendar and outreach locations/schedule for street teams and attends as leader.
  • Attends and manages local partnerships, sponsorships, or leagues within the town center or trade area.
  • Attends and builds relationships in the community at networking/chamber, college, or community events on behalf of WOB.
  • Coordinates and attends events outside of WOB: "taste of XYZ city", homecoming at local college, etc.
  • Finds cross promotional or partnership opportunities for promo nights (Ladies
  • Night, SIN, etc.) with community businesses or clubs.
  • Conducts outreach to book private parties, holiday parties, watch parties, or other large group needs with GM assistance to coordinate in-WOB activity.
  • Resolves any customer concerns promptly and respectfully.

 

Inside of WOB: (secondary, when appropriate at GM discretion)

  • OPTIONAL: Handles all Social Media content, comments, posts/boosts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
  • Owns all corporate system wide, opt-in + local marketing programs within WOB and facilitates to the rest of the hourly team and management.
  • Trains all street team supporting team members.
  • Is punctual with all required or assigned reporting responsibilities.
  • Ensures that the WOB events are always in compliance with prevailing federal and local laws and WOB programs (Labor, Safety, Non-harassment, Security, Food safety, Alcohol Awareness, etc).
  • Ensures customer or employee satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.
  • Follows safety practices/controls.
